Así lo aseguró Yazmin Rodriquez, de la oficina del Ministerio de Cultura y Turismo de China con asiento en Madrid- España, quien comentó que para China contar con la Gran Muralla como una de las Nuevas 7 Maravillas del Mundo, supone un símbolo de unidad, un símbolo tradicional, que demuestra entre otras cosas que se preserva la cultura y la historia, y refleja que la cultura y las costumbres siguen siendo muy importantes en la actualidad.
Por otra parte destacó que «desde que la Gran Muralla es una de las Nuevas 7 Maravillas del Mundo, hay un mayor número de llegadas, sobre todo de turistas internacionales al sitio».
Y agregó «además queremos mencionar en este marco, que se ha promulgado un nuevo decreto mediante el cual los turistas pueden ingresar por 30 días a China sin necesidad de ningún tipo de visado, por lo cual pueden hacer 30 días de turismo en China, sin mayores papeleos».
En ese sentido detalló que «en el 2024 hubo aproximadamente 30 millones de turistas internacionales con incremento del 123%, por lo que esperamos que en el 2025 haya un incremento y cerremos con un número aún mayor».
Específicamente China registró casi 29,22 millones de visitas extranjeras entrantes entre enero y noviembre de 2024 (se estima que fueron casi 30 millones hasta diciembre), lo que representa un aumento interanual del 86,2 por ciento. De estos, 17,45 millones entraron al país sin visado, lo que supone un importante crecimiento interanual del 123,3 por ciento.
De todos los turistas registrados en China, no hubo uno solo que no quisiera conocer la Gran Muralla para inmiscuirse en la historia, costumbres y cultura que la rodean.
